[ Meet Amber ]
It is now 11 years since my first trip to Orlando, and it is rewarding to look back and see what I have achieved. Of course I have set new goals and still have dreams I want to fulfill. There are no boundaries and I love pushing myself and developing the sport of womens wakeboarding.

From the age of 2 until 17 my life was spent in a Gymnastics centre, training with a dream to compete in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney Australia. At 17 years old and the Olympic year I severely broke my ankle that ended my gymnastics career. After a year of rehab I was still unable to get back in the gym and train so I turned my focus elsewhere.
The state of Florida is a swamp land with lakes everywhere and conditions to wakeboard were perfect. I instantly knew this was what I wanted to do for a living. This new dream was exciting and I had my drive and determination back but for a new sport - maybe because I had so much to learn and achieve.
